Validate the Installation

Once the installation is completed check that it is possible to access the Oracle HTTP Server

home page using the following URL:

http://webhost1.mycompany.com:7777/

Copy Portal Specific Files from APPHOST1

The Web Tier needs certain files such as images and configuration information to be able to

display the Portal pages correctly. Copy the following directories from APPHOST1 to

WBHOST2

APPHOST1 WEBHOST2

ORACLE_HOME/portal ORACLE_HOME/portal

ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/OHS/ohs1

/moduleconf

ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/OHS/http

2/moduleconf

ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/OHS/ohs1 ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/OHS/http

Configure Virtual Hosts

On WEBHOST2 edit the file

ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/OHS/http1/moduleconf/virtual_hosts
